The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and friendly. We appreciated their efforts to communicate in English, which made our stay more enjoyable. The dinner and breakfast served at the hotel were delicious and gave us a taste of traditional Japanese cuisine. The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to a bus stop and nearby convenience stores.
Although we enjoyed the experience of sleeping on futons in a traditional room, we found them to be quite hard and uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. It was also a bit inconvenient to have to walk up a hill to reach the hotel, and there weren't many options for food or shopping in the immediate area.

The hotel was situated in a quiet town with fresh air and mountain views. the staff were friendly and communicated well, even though my Japanese is not great, they tried to make me feel comfortable. the dinner and breakfast were wonderful and very traditional. I loved trying new dishes like tempura and shabu-shabu, and the sashimi was fresh. the public onsen was my favorite part of the hotel. I found it to be very relaxing and a great way to unwind after a long day of sightseeing.
The bedding in the traditional room was quite hard and made it difficult for me to sleep well. Though the hotel is located close to a bus stop, there wasn't much else around, and I had to walk far to find convenience stores or restaurants.
